Why do you choose clean beauty?
After hearing stories of my dad being regularly exposed to asbestos in his work place, I knew I had to take my health into my own hands. The FDA does their best but the oversight in our industry is lacking to say the least.

What is a principle that defines your life?
Anything worth doing is worth doing well.

Why do you choose clean beauty?
I have always focused on my personal health and wellness by being conscious of what I put in and on my body. I’m excited to bring this principle into my work life and help support my clients make mindful choices in regards to their beauty and wellness routine, as well as minimizing our environmental impact through clean beauty.

What is a principle that defines your life?
Go with the flow.

What are you up to when you’re not doing hair?
Traveling, thrifting, in the sunshine or with my kitties!

Why do you choose clean beauty?
I believe that using clean products on our hair and bodies is just as important as what we choose to put into our bodies. I aim to minimize my carbon footprint whenever possible, and I believe that incorporating small changes, like using green beauty products, makes a positive impact not only on our environment but also on our health.

What are you up to when you’re not doing hair?Photography is my forever companion and playing music at home on the piano quiets my mind. Getting outside and exploring my natural surroundings is the best inspiration.

Clean beauty is on a mission to change the industry for the better. I hope it inspires accountability about what we put on our bodies and into the environment.

What is a principle that defines your life?
Authenticity. I want to embody that in how I show up for myself and for those around me.

What are you up to when you’re not doing hair?
Dancing, teaching Buti Yoga in the Mission, coaching women to master their self-love, listening to music, learning about energy and spirituality, or binge-watching 90 Day Fiancé.

Why do you choose clean beauty?
There is nothing more important than caring for my clients and myself by using products that are non-toxic. Clean beauty also means creating beautiful hair while caring deeply for our incredible planet. I am so proud to work in a salon that creates little to no waste, uses minimal plastic and overall puts the planet first.

What is a principle that defines your life?
Take care of myself first, so I can then care for others. Have fun always!

We are inundated with a plethora of products, yet the health impacts of many ingredients remain largely unknown to most. I advocate for making thoughtful choices in the products I use and extend that ethos to my clients because our well-being is paramount. Understanding the effects of different ingredients on our health and the environment underscores the critical importance of selecting products that not only benefit us but also contribute positively to the world around us.
